Terms of Service

Last updated: April 25, 2026

1. Service

Tiny Inbox is a personal commitment capture and triage tool, operated as a sole proprietorship by Mark Nelson, based in New Mexico, United States. You can capture items through the web app, a browser extension, Discord, Slack, email forwarding, or an MCP-compatible AI client. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico and the United States of America. By using Tiny Inbox you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. One account per person.

3. Acceptable use

Use Tiny Inbox for lawful purposes only. Do not attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure. Do not use the service to store content that's illegal or that infringes someone else's rights. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Paid plans

Tiny Inbox offers a free tier with full capture and triage on the web, Slack, and Discord, plus the first 10 AI suggestions of your account's lifetime. A paid Pro plan unlocks unlimited AI suggestions, the browser extension, email forwarding, MCP, and exports to Todoist and Google Tasks. Current pricing is on our pricing page.

Pro's "unlimited" AI suggestions are subject to fair-use limits to prevent automated abuse — the specific numbers are visible on your Settings → Subscription page. Excessive automated use may result in temporary suspension of AI features, with reasonable notice when possible.

Pro subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, your choice at checkout). Charges are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as our merchant of record — they handle billing, sales tax / VAT, and invoice delivery. Full card details never reach Tiny Inbox; they go directly from your browser to Lemon Squeezy. See our Privacy Policy sub-processors section for the full data-handling summary.

You can cancel any time from Settings → Subscription. Cancellation stops auto-renewal — you keep Pro features for the rest of the billing period you've already paid for. We don't issue partial refunds for unused time on the period you've paid for.

If a payment fails, Lemon Squeezy's standard retry schedule applies (typically about 14 days). We treat your account as Pro for the duration of that retry window so a transient card issue doesn't interrupt access. Once Lemon Squeezy stops retrying, the account moves back to Free; your data is preserved and Pro features can be re-enabled by re-subscribing.

5. Your data

You own the items you capture. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties except the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy, who process data on our behalf. You can delete your account or download a copy of your data from your Settings page.

When you connect Tiny Inbox to third-party services (Google, Discord, Slack, Todoist, Google Tasks), those services' own terms and privacy policies apply to any data shared through them.

If you're using Tiny Inbox on behalf of an organization, our Data Processing Addendum also applies where data-protection laws like the GDPR or UK GDPR require it.

6. No warranty

Tiny Inbox is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees of uptime, data retention, or fitness for any particular purpose. Use it at your own risk.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
